Specialised Classes
All our classes are free of charge for New Zealand residents and citizens and their partners on a partnership visa.

English for Families & Communities
These family-focused classes remove barriers to learning by providing free childcare for children under 5. Sessions cover practical topics like school forms, newsletters, and making appointments. Suitable for all English levels and tailored to individual needs.

Kiwi English
Supporting learners navigate everyday communication in Aotearoa New Zealand. You'll learn common Kiwi slang, history, including the Treaty of Waitangi, Te Reo Māori words commonly used in English, and more. These classes are best suited for learners with relatively high levels of English.

English for Driving: Learner Licence Road Code
Understand the NZ road rules to be a safe driver, and pass your Learner Licence Test. With no practical driving component, it focuses entirely on the Road Code. Test fees may be reimbursed for eligible learners. Contact us to enquire about eligibility.

English through Digital
This class is for students who have little or no experience using computers. You'll learn the basics, create online accounts, use email, Word, PowerPoint, and Canva, and practise simple digital skills. The class will also help you type faster and feel more confident using English on a computer.

English for Communication
Get support and gain confidence using the English you have learned to talk with people in the community and make friends. This is a fun, social class aimed at helping you practise key communication skills.

English through Sewing
English for Sewing helps learners build English language skills while learning practical sewing techniques. You'll gain practical sewing skills, learn technical sewing language useful for employment in the sewing industry, and you'll build confidence communicating in English through hands-on learning. This class is suitable for learners of all English proficiency levels and is tailored to meet individual needs.
