When can you enrol at KiwiClass?
You can enrol at any time during the year, and we aim to place students in a class as quickly as possible.
What happens after I express my interest in enrolling?
We will contact you to make an appointment for an English Assessment. To ensure every student is placed in the right class, all new students and those who haven’t attended in the past six months will complete a short English assessment so we can learn more about you and your needs.
What should you bring to your appointment?
Your passport/ID and visa or other proof of residency.
What happens at the appointment?
- The assessment is about an hour long.
- The teacher asks you questions about yourself and tests your English reading and writing skills.
- The teacher speaks English.
- You can bring someone with you who can help you and the teacher to understand each other.
- We will tell you when you can start your English class.
- If our programme isn’t right for you, we will tell you about other places you can study English.
What is the cost?
There is no cost. All of our classes are free for New Zealand residents and citizens and their work visa partners.
