KiwiClass Membership
KiwiClass members are the backbone of the organisation. Our voluntary Board is elected by the members at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), and it is the Board that sets KiwiClass’s strategic direction and monitors its performance.
Membership of KiwiClass is open to all persons and organisations who wish to support and promote the objectives of KiwiClass, and who agree to abide by our Constitution.
We keep society members in touch with KiwiClass activities and invite them to attend our AGM, usually at the end of May, to participate in choosing our Board members.
Society member applicants are approved by the Board and advised of their success or otherwise following the meeting at which their application is considered. A Board member may contact the applicant to find out more about their interest in KiwiClass before a final decision is made.
Our Board
As an incorporated society, our members elect our Board, which manages the governance of KiwiClass. Membership of KiwiClass is open to anyone who can demonstrate an affiliation with an ethnic community or a settlement service. We keep society members up to date with KiwiClass activities and ask that they attend the AGM to participate in electing our Board members.
